Statistical Analysis in 5 Easy Steps
Coaching includes weekly, hour-long calls, with document review and email support between calls.
Here are the steps you will take with us:
You send us your data.
We prepare the data so that it’s suitable for analysis and import to SPSS. This includes handling missing data, corrupt data, and outliers.
We perform the mechanics of the data analysis — transforming raw data into statistical results and information. We ensure that you have a full understanding of the steps and mechanics of this process, and that we are executing the methods with your direction.
We provide you with the outputs and results from SPSS. You can then convert the statistical results into knowledge, outcomes, and conclusions.
We have a video teleconference to review the results and answer any questions you may have.
How It Works
Our analyst will perform the mechanics of statistical analysis for you so that you can spend your time more effectively explaining and interpreting the results. We ensure that you have a full understanding of the steps and intended outcomes during the entire process. We also include a follow-up video call to discuss the results and answer any questions you may have.
As we go through the steps, we ensure that you fully understand the details of what we’re doing, and seek your guidance on analytical choices.
This way, you’re involved in the process, you’re deciding on the specific analytical methods, and you’ll be able to speak about your data analysis with authority.

The basic package includes the complete analysis of a user-provided, complete, clean data set, in Excel format, with an adequate sample size, no missing or corrupt data, with one dependent variable and up to 10 independent variables (using multiple regression, ANOVA, or a comparable analysis with another statistical technique).
Upon completion of our work, you will receive
Outputs of SPSS depicting the analysis
A summary of the analysis performed
The results of the analysis including predictive mathematical models
The outcomes of hypothesis tests
A follow-up call to ensure you understand everything
Work is normally completed within 2-3 days.
Add-Ons
Many clients have specific needs that don’t fit within the basic package. We make it easy to add on additional services so that you only pay for what you need. Here are some of the optional add-ons that may be requested:
Prepare the data set for analysis, including sample size calculation, addressing outliers, and correcting for missing or corrupt data
Additional dependent variables
Discuss variables, statistical hypotheses, and statistical methods
Perform initial sample size calculations
Perform post-analysis power analysis
Discuss explanation and interpretation of statistical results
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it okay to have someone perform my statistical analysis for me?
Yes – as long as it’s done ethically. We perform the nuts and bolts of the analysis, with your full understanding of the steps and intended outcomes.
We stay strictly within the bounds of ethical guidelines which align with those of most institutions. We do not perform research, collect data, or interpret statistical results for you. We simply perform the mechanics of executing statistical tools given a data set.
This is similar to having an editor perform document review, a librarian provide sources for scholarly research, or a sophisticated piece of software transcribe interviews.
If you have concerns, it’s always best to check with your committee to make sure they’re on the same page. We’ve found that most committees are fine with students using our services once they understand what we are offering.
Why would I pay for quantitative analysis?
Performing statistical analysis can be a daunting task. Not only do you have to learn a new set of tools, you often have to buy expensive software for one-time use. The costs of software and the time spent learning how to use it are a drain after an already grueling research process.
Factoring in your time, doing your statistical analysis yourself can actually cost you more than hiring an expert.
What if my needs don’t fit into your standard package?
We offer custom pricing for cases that don’t fit into our standard package. For example, you may have more than one dependent variable – in that case, we would only charge for the additional work required. Or, you may be able to perform some of the tasks yourself – in that case, we would offer a discount.
Can I talk with you before I decide if this is right for me?
Absolutely! Feel free to book a free consultation with Dr. McAllister, your quantitative analyst. He can answer any questions you have so that you can make an informed decision about whether this service is right for you.
What software do you use?
We perform quantitative analysis in support of dissertations, theses, and other efforts, using Microsoft Excel and IBM SPSS.
Do you use AI?
No! All of our quantitative analysis is performed by actual humans. No AI services are employed.
What specific statistical tasks do you perform?
The analysis includes the following in support of the proposed statistical methodology:
- A test of the assumptions for the statistical methodology.
- Hypothesis tests.
- Predictive model-building.
- Analysis to determine the predictability of a mathematical model.
- Analysis to determine the significance of proposed predictor variables.
- Full assessment and graphical illustration of two-factor interactions.
What statistical tools do you use?
We offer statistical analysis using any of the following:
- Multiple linear regression
- Analysis of variance (ANOVA)
- Binary logistic regression
- Nonlinear regression
- t tests and similar hypothesis tests
- Other similar statistical tools
